Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Kuwakib Najm Al-Din Abdullah, the director of the National Leading Cancer Research Center, the center organized an impactful solidarity stand on Monday, January 8, 2024, to support Palestinian women amid the challenges they face. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from several center members expressing their solidarity and support for Palestinian women facing difficult circumstances. This stand was organized in response to an invitation from the Women Empowerment Department at the University of Baghdad.
During this stand, emphasis was placed on the importance of supporting Palestinian women in confronting challenges, with demands highlighting women’s rights and the necessity to end the injustice and oppression experienced by women in Palestinian territories. This stand reflects the National Leading Cancer Research Center commitment to global solidarity and the desire to achieve justice and peace by empowering women and supporting their roles in all fields.
