The department includes two laboratories: cellular examination and tumor markers. Receiving tissue biopsies and conducting histological analysis stages. Sectioning the biopsy blocks and staining them with H&E stains.
Tumor Markers Laboratory
- Generating reports and editing results after diagnosis by the specialist doctor and delivering the results to the patients.
- Archiving histological biopsy results both in hardcopy and electronically.
- Performing immunohistochemical staining for pre-prepared cases for research. Conducting scientific research and studies.
- Providing scientific consultations
Cytopathology Laboratory
- Collecting cervical smears from female patients and staining the collected smears slides.
- Screening cervical smear slides and diagnosing cases by the specialist doctor.
- Generating reports, determining results, and delivering them to the patients.
- Archiving cervical smear results in both hardcopy and electronic formats.
- Conducting scientific research and studies.
Clinical Examination Department
Conducting clinical and applied research on patients based on clinical examination results, including two clinics, diagnostic radiology, and endoscopy.
Diagnostic Radiology Clinic
Conducting radiological examinations for early detection of cancer in general and breast cancer in particular.
Endoscopy Clinic
Conducting clinical examinations for early detection and diagnosis of cervical cancer cases using endoscopy.
