Dr. Kuwakib Najm Aldin Abdullah, the director of our center, participated along with our center’s affiliated member in the Women Empowerment Department at the University of Baghdad in the scientific seminar titled “The Phenomenon of Harassment in Iraqi Society and Ways to Reduce It.” The seminar held at the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies/University of Baghdad, aimed to promote the campaign “Together to Create an Environment Rejecting Harassment,” following the directives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The seminar discussed several research papers focusing on the phenomenon of harassment, its Islamic perspective, the negative effects of online harassment on women, strategies to avoid its risks, and various aspects of harassment in society and ways to mitigate it
